This video demos the making of a Platinum Palladium Print using 5% Sodium Chloroplatinate (Na2 Platinum), Palladium #3, and Ferric Oxalate Solution #1 along with potassium oxalate developer. The paper used is Revere Platinum, a 100% Cotton rag Paper free of buffers and additives.

Mark the area you want to coat by lining up your negative and marking the corners.

Now for the emulsion.

For this demo and size print(8x12), we are mixing 12 drops of Palladium #3

Make sure there's no dust on your paper.

Coating time will vary due to the humidity in your enviroment, your paper, and how much water you like to have in your brush when coating.

Keep in mind you don't want to keep everything in one spot.

You want the developer to cover your print quickly and evenly.

You can use a pitcher to pour it on top or you can angle the tray like this and let it wash over the print as it falls down.

As you can see, it's almost an instant development.

But you want to contiune to agitate your tray for about a minute/minute and a half.

After your print is done developing, it's time to switch from developer to clearing.

You'll know it's done clearing because the yellow tinge will be gone.
